My new 8-week-old kitten sleeps about 6 hours on my lap during the workday. Yesterday he tumbled off my thigh and used my calf (and one claw) to slow his descent. Who exactly needs the armor? A foot higher and that could have been my femoral artery. Cat’s playing the long game here.
